Dr. Dustin Drewes is from Chalmette, Louisiana and has been an endurance athlete for over 17 years.

Dustin's career in endurance sports includes competing for the LSU Cycling team and representing LSU at the collegiate track cycling national championship. He also competes as an elite amateur in road cycling and has raced cyclocross, gravel, and mountain bike events. Dustin has also competed in both 70.3 and full Ironman distance triathlon as a competitive age grouper.  

 

After receiving his master's degree in exercise physiology in 2014, Dustin began coaching cycling and triathlon with coaching partner 4th Dimension Fitness / 4D Racing. Dustin has worked with hundreds of athletes since and served as the head coach of the Tulane University Cycling team from 2015-2023.

In 2023, Dustin received his doctorate in physical therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and started Deviate Physiotherapy & Performance to expand his ability to help endurance athletes through injury rehab, bike fitting, and run gait analysis.

When not riding his bike or treating athletes, Dustin enjoys going on mountain adventures with his wife, Mary Beth and spending time with his family in Louisiana.
